One kilometre from the Vitalhotel, Northern Germany’s toughest bike park begins. Racepark Schulenberg draws riders from Hamburg, Hanover and Berlin — and, regularly, World Cup athletes who use the downhill as their training ground. We’re the nearest hotel. With budget rooms made exactly for that.
What awaits you at the Racepark
Six trails, a chairlift up to 645 metres. The downhill course has real character — not polished, not over-secured, but honest. Roots, rocks, speed. Anyone who can ride levels 3 and 4 will be happy here.
For beginners there are chicken ways on every trail. No rider is left stranded without an option. The combi ticket with Bikepark St. Andreasberg pays off for longer stays — two parks, one day pass.
Why the hotel is part of it
After a long day on the trails, you don’t want to drive another 30 minutes. You want to shower, eat, sleep — and be back on the bike first thing tomorrow. That’s exactly what the Vitalhotel is here for.
Our budget rooms aren’t the prettiest rooms in the house. But they have everything that counts: a box-spring bed, shower, TV, Wi-Fi. And they cost €59 — so the budget stretches to day tickets and fuel instead of the hotel room. Breakfast buffet from 07:30, so the first lifts don’t run without you. Sauna for the muscles afterwards.
